Camille asks: Since Cisco officially announced that Flip cameras would no longer be produced our phone is ringing off the hook. We use Flip cameras for creating our videos, so we weren’t surprised to receive a few alarmed calls from our customers and investors this week. They were asking, “What do we do now?” So I push that same questions on you guys: What DO we do now?

Tony asks: How do you get talent to be comfortable in front of the camera? I’m tempted to hold up a toy and talk like a baby to get them to at least smile. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I turn the camera off they’re at ease – it gets turned back on they get stiff and nervous like a deer caught in headlights. Some even start mumbling inaudible comments. Help!

What does a website, Kodak Zi8, an iPhone and the yellow pages have in common?

Bill asks: Just read your tweet to Kodak regarding the video of their VP of marketing not looking into the camera. What is the big deal? When should talent look into the camera? When should they look left or right? are there rules?

Neil asks: With the new Final Cut Pro X I have so many questions that go unanswered like will it work with my current computer? What about the plugins i spent so much on- will they be compatible? Where is the rest of the suite? Is this just a dumb down version or is there more?Apple left these wide open and I want to know more.
