Quicktime Codec Alternatives

Question: Many times I send videos to churches and they can’t be played back due to not having the Quicktime codecs installed. Only Windows native video formats can be viewed. WMV seems to be the logical choice. Is there a converter other than Flip for Mac?

One thing I noticed was the eye catching and simple site you designed and used as an example to explain the content framework model. You stressed a page had to load very quickly - but what about the videos? When using one video on a page my site tends to load very slow. On your site the page has at least 9. Please advise.
