I have the FS-100. Is there a way to keep the DTE recorder continuously recording a longer file?

FS-100 is formatted FAT32 with a limit of 2 gig per file. You start and stop recording you have one file. Recording for 3 hours straight it would still break up the files due to this limitation. Your NLE should seam all of the pieces together

What I do is take all the files and drop them into my FCP timeline- it automatically does it in order. I then export all clips as one using the "self contained movie" under the export drop down so its easier to search through and edit.
