David asks: I have tons of ideas and concepts for bringing a few shows I produced to real television. Where do I start? Who do I call? Any help is appreciated.

Answer: Ken Jones, Producer of “Calaveras Gold”, stopped by our internet studio to give us a video interview with the answers:

I am an aspiring documentary filmmaker from San Diego.

I want to thank you for the time you put in for that webinar last week. Based on watching your show (twice) I’ve made up my mind to do a TV show: San Diego: The View From Here

My wife (who is my lifetime collaborator) was a little skeptical so I had her sit down and watch the show with me. She’s still a little skeptical (that’s a wife’s job I guess) but she was nevertheless impressed with your presentation….

It was a pleasure being with your audience for this show, Brian, and I invite anyone interested in this topic to check out the webinar Brian and I did on this same topic, listed on the “Courses” page. The webinar, Produce a TV Show that Attracts Paying Sponsors, explores this topic in greater depth. I invite anyone with questions or suggestions to contact me at ken@calaverasgold.tv, and visit calaverasgold.tv for examples of the show I am currently producing. You may follow current events for the show at Facebook, “Calaveras Gold”, and follow on Twitter (you guessed it!): “Calaverasgold”.

That’s it! I’m taking off the blinders, cutting loose the excuses and running full bore at the FEAR!

What a great segment with Ken Jones. Thanks, thanks, and did I say thanks?!
