The DV Show LIVE: March 9, 2009
Did you ever want a multi track video player on your website but didn’t know where to start? Stumped on how to download videos from a website and how to edit them? How about streaming your videos from Amazon S3? Do you know how?
We answered these listener questions live on the ad free version of Ustream.tv for the very first time and here is the recording:
Note: This was our first time testing the new Ustream without ads. So yes, we know the video quality is not the best, it starts at :07 seconds, it ends abruptly due to time constraints, Brian looks like he just woke up and the audio does not match video in some areas. These small issues will be improved in upcoming events.
What you need to follow along:
- You must have the Firefox browser
- Download Video DownloadHelper 4.2 for Firefox
- See a sample of the multitrack video player you will create, then download the instructional material package
For the Amazon S3 video hosting tutorial, instructions are here
To embed the multi track video player within WordPress, open the instructional material package and customize the index.htm code to look like this:

Once this code is customized, drop it into a WordPress page or post.
